Caritas is collaborating with National and Local Children and Domestic Abuse Charities to support them in filling leadership roles. We have an exciting opening for a Service Manager in Newcastle/Gateshead. If you have experience leading teams that support vulnerable children, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of people, including 1-1 supervision
  • Service delivery
  • Leading the recruitment, training, and personal development of service staff
  • Monitoring and managing expenditure against agreed budgets
  • Safeguarding vulnerable children
  • Conducting risk assessments
  • Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ideally, a qualification in leadership or management, or a relevant professional qualification in the field of health, social care, or youth work
